So many Fitness trainers, Pilates teachers, and yoga teachers believe that we need to do new and varied movements all the time.

In fact, I’ve heard people complain about the basics, calling them boring and questioning their use and effectiveness.

I’m a big believer in the power of basic exercises that strengthen us for the things we need to do in our every day lives.
